Sharon O’Connell (Terry)
can currently be seen as Cynthia Nightingale, Democratic presidential candidate in the independent feature mockumentary, Liszt for President. Recent theatre includes Sticky Girls (Roxy Rose) at Midtown International Theatre Festival. Sharon has performed and worked on the development of Manhattan Drama Collective presentations of the work of Lee Davis, Alvin Levenstein and many others (Patricia Watt, producer). Recent appearance as Amanda, opposite Harris Yulin in staged reading of Private Lives at Night of 75 Stars at East Hampton’s Guild Hall. She has had long-term recurring roles as Nurse Alice on As the World Turns and Nurse Betty on The Doctors, and has appeared in national commercials as everything from a singing nun to a Pampers parent. Member of New River Dramatists, developing new plays by leading writers including Denis Johnson and James McLure. She is currently producing an independent feature film adaptation of the Irish novel, The Last Fine Summer. Proud working member of AEA, SAG and AFTRA.

Patrick Melville (Schmitz)
Patrick Melville most recently appeared as Aylmer in Scott Barrow’s adaptation of The Birthmark (Metropolitan Playhouse) and shot the indie TV pilot Stuck (Burt Buckston). He performed in the 2007 NY Fringe Festival production of Steven Fechter’s The Commission (Karl). He created the lead role of Paul Taylor in Christopher Boal’s Crazy for the Dog, which was produced first by the Jean Cocteau Rep and then was given a commercial Off Broadway extension. Ari Laura Kreith (Director)
Ari Laura Kreith’s 2007 production of Double Vision sold out at the New York International Fringe Festival and was extended as part of the Fringe NYC Encore Series. Other NYC credits include premieres and workshops of Memory Play: A Fragment (starring Eli Wallach), Trip (Jig Cook Award), Contracts (Lynx Ensemble Theatre), Impostors (Theatre 5), Dreamhouse (Midtown Int’l Theatre Fest), Lost and Profound (Working Artists Theatre Project) and her own adaptation of Three Sisters. Internationally, Ari directed the European premiere of Adam Guettel’s Myths and Hymns (Edinburgh International Fringe Festival) and the solo show Fargo. As the founding artistic director of California’s Theatre Zoe, Ari was the recipient of three Civic Arts Commission Fellowships and directed world and regional premieres including Grotesque Lovesongs, The Bug, Arts & Leisure, Eleemosynary, Trust, The American Plan, Way Back To Paradise, and When We Dead Awaken. Regionally, Ari’s work has been seen at Hudson Stage, Stamford Center for the Arts, Henlopen Theater Project, Lycian Center Theatre, and the Old Eagle Theater. She directed two national tours of The Giver. Member: Lincoln Center Directors Lab, SSDC.
Steven Fechter (Playwright)
Mr. Fechter co-wrote the screenplay for the film The Woodsman (based on his play), starring Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick. For that work he was a Humanitas Prize finalist in screen writing. Steven’s most recent screenplay is Kid Kindness, a crime drama set in Texas. His theatrical works have been staged around the country. Recent productions include the premiere of The Mentee at The Workshop Theater, the Canadian premiere of The Woodsman at Pacific Theatre in Vancouver, and the premiere of The Commission at last year’s New York Fringe Festival.The Commission will have a production in Germany in late 2008. In December, 2007, Steven co-led a workshop of his play The Fiend at London’s Central School of Speech and Drama. He has received residencies at Yaddo and New River Dramatists. Amanda Axelrod (Stage Manager)
is thrilled to be a part of The Golden Aurora and the WAT Project! As a stage manager, some of her favorite credits include The Lunch Hour (Heiress Productions), All That I Will Ever Be (NYTW), Uncle Vanya (PlayMakers Repertory), and The New Hopeville Comics. She recently concluded a 10-month internship/assistantship at Richard Frankel Productions, working directly for Laura Green (GM) on the currently running shows Gypsy, Young Frankenstein, and Hairspray. Amanda also serves on the Board of Directors for Heiress Productions and recently founded her own production company, Lexador Productions.
